Up to this moment you probably already know what you’ll be doing for Easter, but summer hasn’t even properly started yet, so any good holiday idea is worth sharing. Luckily, we found for you a couple of great ideas, thanks to a new TripAdvisor ranking, this time about dreamy islands…

Just like any other TripAdvisor ranking, it was born out of genuine ratings, made by people who actually were there, so we’re not only talking about the wild beauty of a natural paradise, but also about the quality of the services provided; actually, this is why we’re inviting our friends in the HORECA field to check out the accommodation facilities on those islands. We too have plenty of extraordinary samples of stunning natural beauty in Romania and it wouldn’t hurt to support what nature gave us with appropriate services and facilities, with kindness and comfortable rooms, with helpful personnel and carefully considered details, the best of quality, ranging from furniture to tableware or from the chairs in the restaurants to linens…

But let’s talk about the islands. You’re probably not expecting for heaven on earth to be cheap or close, but we believe that (at least once in a lifetime) it may be worth the effort to go on a holiday in such a place.

So, if we’re talking about the best five islands in the world, the “last” would be Bali, the Indonesian paradise, followed closely by the South American Providenciales. Top 3 starts with Jamaica, and number two is finally closer to home – Cyclades, Santorini. As for the first, you might not be surprised to learn that we are talking about the famous Island of Maui, Hawaii.

Still, we also thought it might be worth it to also look at the 100% European version of a Top 5 of the best islands. According to the international ranking above, it’s easy to deduce that number one is in Santorini, but those who closely follow are: Majorca, the biggest Spanish island, Madeira, the Portugese jewel, Crete and the famous Tenerife.
