We can see for ourselves how things really are (at least to some extent).
Well, on of the most useful modern tools we have for planning our trips, tool that also minimizes the risk of having a nasty surprise when we reach our destinations, is TripAdvisor. Whether you’re using their website or their mobile app, the information you can get there are very valuable, because the evaluations are made by people who actually visited those places and experienced the services first hand. And since it’s such a popular tool, the huge number of ratings that keep piling up for every hotel, restaurant or site and so on tends to reflect the actual reality „on the field”.
And if you’re still dreaming or early planning, you might find this useful – we searched for TripAdvisor’s best hotels in 2015 and we’re letting you know where they are.
So, according to the ratings of its visitors, the best hotel in the world is currently Gili Lankanfushi in the Maldives. This might surprise you, but out of the 1055 tourists that ranked the place, 993 considered their stay as being excellent and gave it the highest marks for: location, sleep quality, rooms, service, value and cleanliness. Next in line come: Nayara Hotel, Spa&Gardens, in Costa Rica; Shinta Mani Club Siem Reap in Cambodia; Four Seasons Hotel Gresham Palace in Hungary; Belmond Palacio Nazarenas in Peru. The most romantic hotel in the world seems to be The Place Luxury Boutique Villas in Surat Thani Province, with 585 maixmum ratings out of a total of 591. The next four are: Riad Noir d’Ivoire in Morocco; 2Inn1 Kensington in South Africa; The Old Rectory Hotel in Great Britain; Akademie Street Boutique Hotel and Guesthouse in South Africa. The hotels with the best service in the world should probably be the most interesting to study by our friends in the HORECA field, since quality services are essential to the hospitality industry. Interestingly enough, the first ranked is the same leader of the most romantic hotels top, The Place Luxury Boutique Villas, (oh, yes, and he’s also #1 among the best 25 small hotels in the world). Next come: Riad Keirredine in Morocco; Hotel Residence Agnes in The Czech Republic; Lawton Court Hotel in Great Britain; Hamanasi Adventure and Dive Resort in Belize.
